The Reason Why Dreams Reoccur
Dreams are part of human life which is common to all humans and have great impact on their quality of life. Up till now, brain scientists, who have researched into the cause of the dreams, are yet to come up with a definite answer. They could only bring up different possible causes which, to some extent, are perceived to be true. When one sleeps, his or her entire body is relaxed from tensions built during daily routines. But human brains do not ‘go to sleep’; they simply start intense body coordination, relaxing tensed muscles and processing millions of things experienced during the day. An average human adult sleeps for about seven to nine hours daily before she gets up to attend to their usual fussy life of praying, bathing, cooking and lots more. During this period, scientists believe that the activities of our brains on people’s minds causes a reaction in the form of dreams.
Often, dreams can be soothing, relieving you of stress and anxiety encountered at work or other places. In some cases, they can be very disturbing, resulting in sudden unrest, shivering and nostalgic feelings. Little children, for example, often have pleasant dreams of where they gather to have fun with their mates, whether playing or enjoying tasty meals at the dining table. For most adults, daily stress and worry usually lead to horrible experiences in their dreams, capable of affecting one psychologically later on. Drug abuse is another factor that brings about nightmares, especially among teenagers and youths.
If you have ever tried to change your usual sleeping time to attend to certain important things, you are most likely to provoke a dream when you lie for rest. Patients with sleep disorders like insomnia often experience disturbing dreams that cost them sleepless nights. Dreams will always be a reoccurring experience because the factors that are likely to cause them take place every day. There used to be a more different scenario of a reoccurring dream where a particular dream of last night finds its way into your night today. You could probably notice a few changes in location, people involved, period of time, but the storyline is nothing different from last night. It may occur for more than two days, leaving you speechless as to why the story hasn’t really changed.
You become more conscious of the fact that this is not a fantasy or a mere reaction of your mind to your brain’s activities at night. A person can tell from the looks of things this is something out of the ordinary which is important and must be decoded. This particular recurrence will continue unless you fully grasp and heed whatever it is you are trying to communicate. If such a dream continues to be neglected, it will worsen, returning as nightmares because it entails is a thing that will improve your living. It is a bit higher than a regular dream as it tends to know your life challenges and seeks to direct your attention to them or proffer a solution.
