The Significance of Dreams in Our Lives
Every night or every time you fall asleep, you can dream up to three times, but most times people forget about what they dream about. A question that people ask is, what is the purpose and meaning of dreams? Are dreams predictions of the future? Some think that dreams are warnings from forefathers or from God, while others care little about what their dreams are. There are dreams that leave people shaken because of how vivid the dreams were. Dreams have different meanings, and it may not necessarily mean that you have to see a shrink each time after.
In this world, there is no one who can fully explain the significance of dreams because each experience is different for everyone. One meaning that is common towards the meaning of a dream is that your mind is processing what you have experienced during the day. Most individuals find themselves dreaming about the last moments experienced during the day or before falling asleep. It is the brain or subconsciousness communicating with you in the form of dreams. Usually, students prefer reading at night before their exams because they find themselves easily remembering what was crammed the previous night.
When dealing with certain issues that can evoke extreme emotions such as envy, fear, stress, sadness, or even happiness, people often find themselves dreaming about situations that are similar to what is going on in their lives. What you often dream of may be what your heart desires the most. If someone has a goal of maybe getting promotions, they may find themselves dreaming of big offices or even driving better cars. Dreams can motivate someone to work towards what they want to achieve.
Some dreams are interpreted to mean either good omens or bad omens according to the colors in them. Dreaming of something red may mean danger is coming towards your way, so you should be careful. Green may mean that you have been envious towards someone, or want something that does not belong to you. Different colors mean different things according to people who have researched dreams. However, this does not mean that the moment you dream of a particular color means that you necessarily feel that way. Research on dreams is still a subject that most have researched on but due to everyone having a uniquely built brain, there is no conclusive way to put them into perspective. Dreams are important and healthy, plus they can serve as a timely warning of impending doom, death or a good event that may soon take place in your life.
